Ziying Tang is a Research Associate on the Platform Team at Point72 Ventures. In her role, Ziying leverages Point72’s proprietary research capabilities to integrate alternative data into its private markets’ investment process. 

Before joining Point72 Ventures, Ziying co-led a healthcare data research team within Point72’s hedge fund business. In this role, she collaborated with a multidisciplinary team comprising fundamental researchers, data scientists, engineers, and data strategists to provide differentiated, relevant, and compliant data-driven insights to long/short equity investors. Ziying joined Point72 full time in 2019 after spending time as an intern. She received her bachelor’s degree in economics from Brown University.
