Alessandro Contreras is an Analyst on the Investment Team at Point72 Ventures, focused on growth-stage investments.  

Prior to joining Point72 Ventures, Alessandro worked as an investment team analyst at Chicago Ventures where he focused on the industrial sector and helped portfolio companies solve operational issues through software solutions. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor’s in business administration.  

What excites me:

Having the chance to learn everyday about different problems and markets and being able to meet the folks that are tackling these problems.  

First-hand exposure helped me learn.  

I was fortunate to see a lot of deals in the growth equity space and learn alongside deal partners. I love learning about market size and dynamics to contextualize a company.
