Sarah is the Chief of Staff at Point72 Private Investments, where she helps drive strategic initiatives and serves as the connective tissue across the organization, working to ensure flawless execution and team alignment.

Sarah joined Point72 Private Investments from Rokt, a founder-led ecommerce startup, where she built the first communications team from the ground up. Prior to Rokt, she led communications for Compass, a founder-led real estate tech company. Before Compass, Sarah spent nine years at Google wearing many different hats—most recently leading communications and operations for the engineering and product teams, before that driving employee communications and engagement, and initially working on public policy. She began her career on Capitol Hill as a staffer for the House Energy & Commerce Committee.

Competitive swimming made me obsessed with time management.

Years of 5am practices and fitting homework around training schedules taught me how to make every hour count. I still approach my schedule like I’m trying to shave seconds off a race time.

I believe the people you hire matter more than anything else you’ll do.

I’ve watched teams succeed or fail based almost entirely on whether they had the right people. In my experience, getting that decision right is worth whatever time it takes, and helping those people thrive is job number two.

Many different hats, always people first.

I’m laser focused on the human aspect: who is this person in front of me, what drives them, how can I help them communicate, and what do they need to succeed?

Small talk cheat sheet:

Prestige TV deep dives, Oscar predictions, competitive board games, Seattle restaurant recommendations (I just moved from Brooklyn!)
