Ryan Fauber

Ryan Fauber is an Associate on the Investment Team at Point72 Ventures, focused on Artificial Intelligence.

Prior to joining Point72 Ventures, Ryan was an Investment Banking Associate at Goldman Sachs’ Technology, Media, and Telecommunications practice where he focused on large-scale M&A advisory. Prior to that, Ryan worked at IDinsight, an impact advisory firm advising governments, NGOs, and private funders on the measurement and improvement of their development programs in emerging countries. During that time, he was based in New Delhi, India for 3 years. Ryan started his career at LinkedIn rotating through operations, growth, and sales roles.

Advancements in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning will expedite the automation of complex and creative tasks.

I’m fascinated by the emergence of tools such as quantum-computing-as-a-service that augment human pattern recognition to develop novel solutions to complex problems. These technologies have the ability to impact industries as far reaching as drug discovery and financial risk management in much the same way that we are already seeing the impact of generative AI in text and art.

Scaling applications of cutting-edge tech energizes me.

Working in places with limited infrastructure highlighted the potential for and the challenges of novel technologies. I look forward to partnering with great founding teams and watching them grow from nimble upstarts to market shapers.
