No matter how advanced a company’s technology is, customers may have trouble finding it without the right kind of sales and marketing. This isn’t the Field of Dreams; in my view, go to market strategies must be built and executed carefully to convince a customer to come and try the product. This is where I get the most excited – working to ensure that a startup’s marketing lives up to the technology it’s selling.

I believe you only need to market for where you’re at.

Marketing can be intimidating and confusing for many founders. They don’t need to become a marketing expert overnight or hire the best ad agency in the world to win their corner of the market. What I believe they do need is targeted and effective marketing that fits their company’s stage. My approach is to partner with founders to make that happen with existing teams and resources – and then support them on their journey as they grow the function and their business!
