The latest and greatest technology is really just that.
From the moment I traded my first Walkman in for an MP3 player, I’ve been fascinated by how quickly new technology changes the way people live and interact with each other. In defense tech, these advancements have the potential to take on an even greater significance as they can protect lives and may ultimately help address some of the most complex challenges of our generation. Supporting entrepreneurs who are driving these breakthroughs is both incredibly inspiring and deeply rewarding to me.
I thrive on embracing the unknown.
My experience as a Marine taught me that uncertainty can create opportunity so long as you embrace it with adaptability and decisiveness. I thrive on exploring uncharted territory, and it’s this mindset—seeing the unknown as opportunity and uncovering new solutions to navigate it with confidence—that inspires the work I do as a VC.
I learn the best from other people.
Their experiences, perspectives, and passions inspire me to think differently and grow into the best version of myself. Likewise, I believe the most successful companies are built by teams that can do the same and value personal growth as much as they do their business’s. I’m excited to partner with leaders who invest in their people and help foster a culture of trust and collaboration that drives performance and creates a lasting legacy for the business.
