Rob Hammond is an Associate on the Investment Team at Point72 Ventures, focused on growth-stage investment activities.

Prior to joining Point72 Ventures, Rob was a Senior Manager at Canoo, where he helped lead internal fundraising and the development of product portfolio and sales strategy. Before Canoo, Rob was an Associate at Rothschild & Co, where he worked on M&A, buyouts, fundraises, and strategic advisory for tech companies. Rob started his career as an Army officer, where he served in Afghanistan, China, and the Defense Language Institute.

I was the Dean of the Department of Defense’s Chinese Language program at the Defense Language Institute and earned my master’s degree in economics at Nanjing University.
