David is a Data Engineering Lead on the Platform Team at Point72 Private Investments focusing on the buildout and infrastructure of our core data systems and products.

With a background in building data infrastructure for AI and machine learning enabled platforms, David previously worked at Meta and In-Q-Tel after leaving a 13 year career at the National Security Agency.

Building for the needs of today, and the ideas of tomorrow.

I believe AI applications offer almost limitless promise and potential to augment how we work today, making it even more important to develop disciplined and sustainable systems to support them. I’m passionate about enabling my team through building agile and responsive data infrastructure.

We work in a demanding, evolving industry, where the needs of our investors and operating partners change frequently, knowing this, it is not enough to hang your hat on previous success. I’m continuously working with key stakeholders across our team to try to improve and optimize our existing suite or proprietary data tools.
