Angelica Sullam is an Operating Partner at Point72 Ventures, supporting investment activities and working alongside our Enterprise focused portfolio companies to assist them in reaching their next round goals.

Prior to joining Point72 Ventures, Angelica was an Innovation Strategy Manager at Silicon Valley Bank, where she focused on launching new business lines and incubating new companies. She previously worked at Good Eggs as the Director of Strategic Projects, where she originally started as an intern and grew alongside the company for eight years.

My goal is to increase the likelihood of success of our enterprise portfolio companies. This ranges from building scalable solutions for common challenges, jumping in to help founders refine their metrics, hone product market fit, build the team, and more—but no matter what the goal, it’s important to me to build deep relationships with our founders so they can look to me as a trusted partner.

I believe in human centered design.

You can solve almost any problem by pairing a deep understanding of human needs with inquisitiveness, data, and topic proficiency. You have a greater chance of building the right solution if you’re brave enough to bring in users throughout the process while keeping your mind open (and ego low).

Live by the golden rule.

Take the time to genuinely practice empathy by anticipating how it would feel to be in others’ shoes. Your team and loved ones will thank you. And your future self will thank your past self for slowing down to do it right, especially in major moments of change.
