I specialize in what we call “demand-driven investing.”

I talk to organizations and find areas of need related to themes we invest in, and then help our portfolio companies sell into those verticals. I get to talk to a lot of people, and it gives me a birds-eye view of the industry.

I try to add real value to our industry connections.

It should be mutually beneficial. Our insights around startups, founders, and buyers help us connect others, while keeping us near the pulse and making it easy to get an expert’s point of view.

Small talk cheat sheet:

Being a new transplant to London, surfing, Formula 1, the perfect falafel.

I try to come into meetings with a sense of their market.

Our process helps me build a customer-informed view that I can layer onto their projections. That lets us get to the fun stuff—solving complex problems and thinking about how to drive sales.
